Daijoubu

The Haruhi Box arrived yesterday and its certainly a lot more complicated than any other DVD box set I’ve seen. Looks like you’re supposed to display it on its side with the DVDs and CDs lying flat, but isn’t that supposed to not be a good idea for discs? Anyway, its cool to have a place to store the CDs, but its gonna take some effort just to fish them out of this thing. Might not be too much of a problem for me though, at least for Hare Hare Yukai because, as the picture below shows, I’d already got the Japanese version a year ago. Yep, I went ahead and ordered this knowing I’d be duplicating, so maybe I’m as bad as Konata (like in my last post)! I also already got the OP CD and the God Knows/Lost My Music discs too, so it won’t be until the character singles come along that I’ll have new stuff. lol The extra stuff that came with the box is OK, but I can’t really fit the Haruhi no Ribbon over my big head! Still an awsome box overall.

I also got some other boxes you can see (after the jump): My-Hime, Rozen Maiden, and the second Eureka 7 one.

The My-Hime one is quite good and a big improvement over the one they put out first. Like the Haruhi box, the discs sit in there in an unusual way, but at least they are not flat. But the plastic part with the picture of all the characters warps a little.

This box is more traditional in shape but its fuzzy! Quite an elegant approach, I think Shinku might approve. But they should have included a doll size tea set with this, that’d be a great extra! XD

And just today I got the second Eureka 7 Box. Same design as the first one, and more pictures from the 2nd ED, but I like the addition of he two Eureka and Anemone pics.
