Daijoubu

AnimeNext is coming up this weekend and I’ll be there, at least on Saturday. Just as with Anime Boston, I haven’t pre-registered. Since I’ve never been to AnimeNext, I’m not 100% sure what to expect in terms of crowds. For Anime Boston, I arrived early enough on Saturday that I got through the line surprisingly quickly. For AnimeNext, I have a room for Friday night, so my plan is to take my time getting there (I want to stop at Mitsuwa on the way). Then I can register Friday night or first thing Saturday. Hopefully there won’t be any issues like those that cropped up at AX this past weekend!

Looking ahead, it’s interesting they have some Gonzo people coming to talk about Romeo X Juliet. I haven’t watched that series yet (reading about the flying horses and whatnot turned me off a bit), but now I guess I’ll have to check it out! Other than that, the panels look so-so, but we’ll see. Maybe I’ll take cosplay pics and buy stuff in the Dealers’ Room. Oh, and Hinano and jpmeyer will be there selling doujinshi, so maybe I’ll buy some and marvel at being able to see other anime bloggers in real life, O_O
