Concerns continue about the violence of School Days. To make the series less terrifying for sensitive and impressionable viewers, a new version was created in which Makoto and Sekai are replaced by the cute dumplings featured in the ED sequence of the forthcoming Clannad anime. Daijoubu has gained special access to some screencaps from this projected series.
After some audience testing, it was decided that these changes actually made the final episode MORE disturbing than it had been before, not less disturbing, as the creators had hoped. So don’t expect to see Dango Days anytime soon.
