I know a lot of people, particularly those of you who follow a lot of shows, may not always have the luxury to devote your full attention to every moment of each episode that you watch. And if you are watching subs, instead of raws, the need to follow subtitles will distract your attention even more from the animation on the screen. The result is that you may not notice certain subtle elements that go by in a flash, and yet are vital to an understanding of the drama unfolding before you. As I did with Clannad ep. 2, I hope to here enlighten those of you who have missed vital points of Clannad, ep. 3.
Nagisa: “There’s something we really need in our School Days play! Dango Daikazoku desu!“
Tomoya: “‘If you mention those damn dangos again I’ll squeeze every one of them to a pulp!”
Nagisa: “………………………….dango daisuki desu!“
Tomoya: “OK, That’s it! You want School Days with Dangos, here it is!!!”
Nagisa: “………………………….”
Nagisa: “I can’t believe you took out all those dangos so quickly by yourself!”
