I used to watch CSI all the time, but I never considered myself a fan because I only watched it because there wasn’t anything else on (plus CSI is on all the time).

I haven’t seen the episode, but it may be referring to the virtual online community…Second Life (http://secondlife.com/). Recently Hayao Miyazaki and supporters used the donation area of Second Life to help raise money to save “Totoro’s Forest.
