I wasn’t saying that my view was the correct way to look at it. I think you’re “food=sex” thing has validity simply because food and mating go together in most cultures.

I always lean towards viewer interpretation being valid in most context despite the intent of the story writer. Basically, I wasn’t arguing a point. I was simply offering another prospective.

Also, If I do any more post on Clannad, I’m going to see if I can ninja an mspaint-dango in there an see if anyone notices.

I took that food scene a little differently, as he was eating the food that her tears head fallen onto. It could be seen as his willingness to share her pain, a display of empathy.
