Daijoubu

Although my truly epic plans for Valentine’s Day will be revealed soon (and did I mention they are nothing short of epic?), I came across the above picture and had to find some excuse for posting it here. This picture has helped to sway me even further into the Kyou camp out of all the Clannad girls. With Kyou, you get the best of everything, combining the purplish hair of Kotomi with a kicking ability that, while it may not rise to the level of Tomoyo, is certainly more than adequate for the average male otaku, especially if you can get a glimpse like above. Unlike the tiresome Nagisa, who you’d always have to be supporting and encouraging in one way or another, Kyou is a confident and straightforward girl, who only needs to be alone with you for a while in a dark room to reveal her deredere side in all of its alluring glory. She’s a girl you can talk to, who won’t mince words, and who can communicate like a regular human being, unlike Fuuko and Kotomi. If I could spend my Valentine’s Day with Kyou, it would be a blissful time, even if she kicked me, because besides getting a view like in my new favorite Kyou-picture, I’d be able to bask in the knowledge that, while her tsun-side can be severe, her dere-side would be proportionately pleasurable. And in the nearly impossible situation that one might have a little too much unadulterated Kyou-ness, there’s always that cute twin that comes along with her!
