It’s time for me to give my thoughts on the latest NON-arc of Clannad. There is much that happens in these over-stuffed episodes, but what it boils down to is that the fan favorite, much-beloved, super-sexy, brilliant twins (that’s Kyou and Ryou to all of you highly deprived ignorant masses) end up in tears. Who caused this highest of all crimes, this unforgivable act, this disgrace to all mankind and lolikind? It was those reprobates, those arch-criminals, Tomoya and that sickly and pusillanimous Nagisa. But let me go through these episodes, which featured some of the greatest moments ever of Kyou-tastic ecstasy!
Episode 15: OK, not much happens in this episode. It’s really a Sunohara episode. He actually acts somewhat cool in this episode. He is very funny. I like Sunohara. He’s trying his best to make this like a Shounen Jump sports manga story. I enjoy Eyeshield 21, so this is an acceptable development.
Episode 16: Poor Kyou is confused. Does she want Tomoya for Ryou or for herself? It’s OK, though. She is a passionate girl with strong feelings, willing to give her sister happiness before herself. Her selflessness is a great virtue and a sign of a superior personality. Kyou is a model of womankind. She is destined to make someone very happy and if Tomoya is too stupid to achieve such a blissful state for himself, then so be it. That gives the rest of us hope at least! Anyway, the best part of this episode is seeing Kyou-sama in action on the basketball court. Such skill and dexterity. Such true passion and intense feeling. Kyou is a model of wo–oh, I already wrote that… lol. Anyway, enjoy these images of Kyou, the Princess of Basketball!

Episode 17: Now this isn’t like the game at all! Oh wait, I never played the game. But I read about it on some blog and I know that Kyou and Tomoyo are supposed to get FULL ARCS!!! I once considered writing a love letter to Tomoyo, but she seems a bit annoying in this episode and anyway I’ve totally gone into the Kyou camp now! But anyway, not only should Kyou get her own full arc of about 10 episodes, she really should have a 26 episode series to herself called Kyou and Friends. Anyway, this episode has become legendary because every blogger in existence has put those sexy Kyou pictures from this episode up on their blogs. I can’t add much to what’s already been said about this, but Tomoya seems not to have the emotions of full-blooded young male with a great CHANSU. <fap>KYOU KYOU KYOU</fap>
Ahem…. So that starfish girl keeps showing up too. You know, I know of an otaku wedding that will take place in a little over a year…Maybe I should start handing out starfish sculptures and asking random people to come?
Episode 18: If Hillary Clinton continues to have a rough time, perhaps she should consider employing a Tomoyo election strategy? She would probably have to take lots of steroids to win against different sports teams though (maybe she already does though…?). Actually, if Tomoya and Bill Clinton switched places, Hillary would get some good campaign advice, but the Clannad girls would be in trouble–I mean Bill and Kyou in that locked room, just think!! It would be like School Days again.
So this is the episode where Kyou and Ryou are reduced to tears. How dare Nagisa and Tomoya not notice her tender feelings. If I were in Tomoya’s place, do you know which girl I’d choose. Oh wait, you already do. :) Although, when Nagisa’s story really starts up I’ll probably end up going back to liking her again. But not as much as Kyou.

Bill Clinton and Kyou in a locked room…? Now tht’s a scary image…
Also, where are the dangos???
I’m actually beginning to hate dangos thanks to you.
:/
Yep, we are suckers to ‘tsundere-type’ characters.
I haven’t played the game yet but listened to the drama cds of clannad. According to the “Clannad Drama CD: Fujibayashi Kyou”, its true that she is holding back for her sis’ happiness but in the end, its a sibling rivalry (Which if you listen, you might hate Ryou).
Can you imagine Kyou having Ryou’s hairstyle?
After seeing eps. 18, viewing clannad list of characters in Wiki, and listening to “Clannad Drama CD: Furukawa Nagisa”, I have a general idea on how the series will go and end. That idea somehow reminded me on how AIR series ended, considering that Nagisa is as frail as Kamio Misuzu.
ahaha! i LOVE your posts. keep them coming!!
Thank you meh :) You clearly have superior taste and a brilliantly discerning mind!
