Well, the earliest post on Daijoubu was on March 4, 2007 (and I thought it was in April…), so this blog is over a year old and I can’t plan any spectacular dango-filled celebration now ’cause it’d be two weeks late!!! And can you believe, I probably didn’t know what a dango was when I wrote that first post!
Actually, I’d been sitting on the site since early December 2006, but March was when I finally got around to doing something serious with it. But the next post is dated March 25, and I only started the blog really going in early April, so maybe its not too late to celebrate after all! I know it was about that time that I was ready to be listed on animeblogger.net and then AnimeNano! :)
So how do I feel after one year? Well, as someone mentioned in a different context about their artwork and video-making skills, I’ve seen other blogs that appeared after Daijoubu soon getting lots more hits and comments then I’ve had yet! :( But I am grateful to everyone who reads and enjoys what I put here. And I am always happy to see the sometimes bemused comments that show up! I wasn’t really originally planning for the majority of the posts to be on the more humorous side, but I find it hard to resist joking about episode plots, manipulating screencaps, creating silly comics, and making endless dango jokes.
As for the future, I’d like to continue with more episodic-style posts, but with more series than just Clannad (with occasional Shana)! Otherwise, there will be more of the same (including ABC stuff and convention reports and maybe some manga reviews). There may be another BIG change soon too, lol
Also, I’d like to thank everyone, including those who’ve linked here or plugged me in those Kabitzin interviews; and also my sometimes MegaDaijoubu collaborators, Hinano and DiGiKerot! And don’t forget to DONATE to ANIMEBLOGGER.net or THE DANGOS WILL CRY!!!!!
