My Anime Boston cosplay is ready… just kidding!
So I’m finally getting to the 12th Day (of Christmas, lol). I’ve really departed from whatever the original intent of this was, but it had something to do with great moments of 2007 or something… Well, I did go to a bunch of cons in 2007 and I posted about them here! (Anime Boston, Anime Next, Connecticon (yes, Connecticon), Manga Next and the New York Anime Festival. I’d say Anime Boston 2007 was OK, but I had no friends who were there to hang out with and I was only there one day. Anime Next had a weak location, but I was curious to check it out. I also wanted to buy some doujinshi (lol). Connecticon was the most fun (as usual, especially as I could go all three days). Manga Next was a bit lame, but I got to see two Hinano cosplays and visit Mitsuwa. NYAF was a different sort of con (and closed down early), but I did enjoy what they did have and got some great blogging material there! OK, enough about those cons: Now its time for the first con of 2008 (woot!)
I’ll be heading out to Boston early Friday morning–very early because, yet again, I have not pre-registered. I’ll be there Friday and Saturday. I know I will be encountering some other bloggers there, including one I’ve never met before (well, I’ve only met two — that I didn’t know already — in person), so that will only be three total — I should go to Singapore and meet about a hundred in one day (haha). But I know others will be there, so perhaps I will encounter some… or at least walk by them without knowing that they have a blog, lol.
A con in Boston does not provide the weeaboo excursions that New York does (Kinokuniya, Asahiya, Mitsuwa), however, there is a mall with Japanese food and groceries in Cambridge and Sasuga, which used to have a store in Cambridge, will undoubtedly have a presence at the con itself. I’m not planning to spend much money. Maybe if they have the latest Megami, and I will certainly be giving Hinano money too. And I can take lots of pictures! So now I have a day to prepare… maybe I will throw together that cute costume… (just kidding).

See you there on Saturday! I expect a full report on Friday’s Lucky Star panel, BTW.
