It was nice to be able to meet The Pillows and snag autographs, but overall my impressions of AB ‘08 are dominated by mobs of loud, overstimulated teenage dorks, dealers room disappointments, and lines, lines, lines. The staff seemed to be doing their best, with what was probably totally inadequate manpower, but they’re going to have to come up with something really impressive to tempt me to return in ‘09.

Like I’ve been telling everyone else, DS, I’m so sorry your wait was so long. Ohayocon was only slightly understaffed last year (at least from my experience and what I’ve heard) so I can’t imagine what that madness must have been like. And you didn’t get to buy a Lucky Star artbook either~ D:

And I forgot to mention, all that time in line I was behind a group of 13-16 year old Narutards who screamed at EVERY SINGLE COSPLAYER WHO WALKED BY!! Once, one of the girls even started screaming, “Ooooh, It’s Samurai X!” They also had a plush fox they called “Kyubi” that they kept throwing around. One of the girl’s father was chaperoning them, but he just sat on the side and read a book.
