Although I’ve previously complained about Maka’s voice, I have to admit that one gets used to it and it does seem to add to her appeal. So yes lolikit, I’ll admit that “Maka’s voice is awesome!” Actually, everything about this girl is awesome: those amazing moves in her battles and her sexy legs of course, and female fans get to see her literally wield her man as a weapon–how empowering is that? And he’s not the usual dip$hit weakling, like the idiots Saber and Shana are stuck with! There’s really not much more for me to say with this post, except to show off some pics which illustrate the power of this amazing girl. Maka’s voice is great… a big part of her charm. Her ability to fight and her facial expressions all make for pure win… Soul eater is definitely an amazing and stylish show… it is currently number 2 on my list and gaining on number 1.
It’s amazing, they’re almost as thin as the ones in S.A. or Nabari no Ou, but I’m not cringing at the sight of them lifting heavy weights!
The greatest thing about her is her physics-defying skirt. I remember how folks praised Gonzo for making Rosario Vampire so realistic (”But in reality, you WOULD see their panties every other frame with skirts like that!!”) and here, you’re gonna have a lot of disillusioned anibloggers sighing and shutting off their media players.
“What the fuck is this Maka thing, anyway. Why does her skirt defy gravity? So unrealistic.”
And suddenly, you have a shitload of people hating the show for being unrealistic (all good anime is realistic).
