Daijoubu

There’s been this thing that’s popular recently, where people try to come up with a memoir or biography of their life in just six words. An otaku one might run like this: Watched anime, then watched some more or Bought a lot of figures, fapped. Well, in today’s busy world, where more and more bloggers seem distracted by school, work or Pangya, perhaps it’s time for that anime blogging staple, the episode summary and reaction, to get even more economical. To some extent, this has already been happening, as revealed by certain habitually verbose bloggers utilizing their MyAnimeList blogs to give quick episode impressions. Well, let’s just take this to the next level: six word episode summaries; or better yet, the summary and blogger’s opinion in one concise, six-word statement. Is there anyone ready to take up this challenge? If it catches on, perhaps a blog with of that kind could win the Best Episodic Blog category in next year’s Anime Blogging Awards? Below I provide some samples, and I encourage everyone to come up with their own!

• An episode of Kanokon: Saw some pantsu; saw some boobs.
• An episode of Soul Eater: Desperate battle, Soul and Maka resonate
• An episode of Lucky Star: Another school day, another silly conversation.
• An episode of Haruhi: Destruction of the world prevented again.
• An episode of Gundam or Macross: Giant robots fight; war is bad.
• An episode of Junjou Romantica: Men kissing; Seme; Uke; Yaoi; Buttsecks.
• An episode of Bleach: Same fight continued, more next week.
• An episode of Special A: Hikari acts like a moron again.
• An episode of Kurenai: There’s a loli in his room.
• An episode of Shugo Chara: Cool and Spicy; another filler ep.
• An episode of Shana: Yuji is lame; Shana kicks ass.
• An episode of Rosario+Vampire: Lots of fanservice; fighting; totally pointless.
• An episode of Clannad: This one was about Kyou: Drool!!!!.
• An episode of Eva: City attacked; Shinji runs away; wuss.
