Are you tired of bad anime?? Are the endless cliches, recycled plots, reset endings, repeated character designs, series that trainwreck, poor animation, endless tsundereness, moe-overdosing, Rie Kugimiya, productions by SHAFT, later episodes of Gonzo series, and KyoAni fan-pandering getting you down? It’s time to protest the garbage!
The Revolution has come!!!
Do we burn the bad anime (Anime 451)? Do we all fly to Japan and picket the studios? Do we stop buying DVDs (oh, it’s already happened)? Do we stop downloading (but that wouldn’t make animealmanac Scott happy?!!??! Heaven forbid!!)? Perhaps like Zero of Code Geass I need to recruit a Secret Underground Army to fight the enemy! There are so many positions that need to be filled! Who’s good at fangirl rage (Hinano?); Who’s good at trolling (Lolikit?); who’s good at felling enemies with biting sarcasm and chilling disdain (Owen S.)? We need agents in Japan and Singapore!! We need to infiltrate 2chan and ANN!! Make signs for picketing!! Spam the internet!! Decry the waste of studio resources!! Create an anti-moe vaccine!!
Who’s with me????

Or, you could go and try to pick up some things you’ve missed from the past (especially old school stuff), thus showing your lack of support for the new stuff you find to be subpar. ^_~
Its hard to take you seriously with your banner featuring Konata ;P
Rofl I got the Fangirl Rage base covered!
Finally you have awakened, DS. I’ve been fighting this fight for years; you know I’m with you.
So, how did you manage to post this a season late?
I watch Naruto \m/
I can brew up some anti-moe vaccine but it needs the main active ingredient, the essence of GAR (obtained and triple-distilled from the sweat produced by Kamina and Duke Togo), to be fully effective. Will keep you posted.
GONZO is actually quite good these days. Have you seen Linebarrel? Now that is damn good anime.
But bad anime makes good anime look good-er
It’s time to protest against ignorance and the unwillingness to adapt with the times (especially something as dynamic as anime).
Bad anime helps us appreciate good works better. :P
Plus it’s all subjective and relative~
Seconded.
