   That dango isn’t nearly large enough to cover up the disgusting screenshot

   Nah, it’s not all that bad at the moment when you factor in the shows ongoing since Spring, and let’s face it – Summer is always full of shows existing merely to plug the gap between the blockbuster Spring and Fall seasons.

   Anime is better than it has ever been — it’s just that the better shows aren’t for kids any more: you get less shounen stuff and you have to work your way around more fanservice. Even in this summer season, I’ve liked the first eps of several shows, including Aoi Hana, Sora no Manimani, Canaan, Kanamemo, and Princess Lover. Even Needless has something going for it, in my opinion. Fanservice doesn’t equal “garbage,” for me.
