   uh-oh, did you change the Sea Slug design? ;P (I still don’t know what those ears/laser-cannons are!)

   The important element of the sea slug design are rabbit ears and cat whiskers, a reference to Kabitzin (because his name makes me think of cabbit, although spelled differently, part rabbit part cat).
