Daijoubu

Before I continue to consider more blogs on the blogroll, I’m going to make some decisions about the blogs covered so far. Some that haven’t been updated recently I’ll eliminate. The ones that will stay are: 11~15% suki (not updated recently, but I have met him in person, lol); Alafista (great stuff from Japan); Anime Diet (frequently updated, amusing podcast, and I’ve met him in person xD ); and Beta Waffle (I like his comics). OK, so now I’m ready to look at a few more going down the list….

I put loliflaksune’s site under “dotq or not,” which I found a cute thing to do at the time, so I’m going to change that, so soon it’ll be in a different place alphabetically. This blog (NOTDOTQ) MUST stay in this blogroll because lolikit/flack or whatsizname is one of the great internet personalities of all time. In saying this, I don’t mean to imply that I understand most of what he does in any way shape or form, but I have a gut feeling he’s clever in some essential way that I don’t have time to investigate right now. I have yet to read his Night Switch thing, but I might do so soon since I think I might be represented in it in some way…..

Next is Drastic My Anime Blog, which I think of as another one of the classic anime blogs and bloggers. He seems to like a certain character from Touhou…

Epic Win is a genuinely entertaining blog, if updated not as often as it should be. I salivate at the number of comments they get. Another classic blog that should stay on the list…

Wow, lots of essential blogs are coming up in this post! Next is Four Flavors of Taiyaki. I feel like I know Taiyaki in person because of so much Pangya, but the blog is not updated and I don’t think it will be, so…. sorry T4iyaki, but I have to eliminate something in this section of the blogroll! I still want to play approach mission again with you soon!!!

Gnostic Lone Wolf Poetry has not been updated, but again I have a gut reaction that this guy is cool, so I’m reluctant to drop it…..

Happy Soda is a big figure blog. It’s not an aspect of otaku culture I’m too keyed into right now and I’m thinking that salivating over figures I can’t afford to get might be unhealthy for me, so perhaps I’ll eliminate this one from the list, however I still recommend it for the great pics!

Hashihime has great seiyuu info, so I feel like this one should stay…

Hesei Democracy has not been updated either!!! Too bad, because when it is, its excellent for 1. New and 2. Good writing on those too infrequent occasions when commentary posts were written. So I guess this one will get jettisoned, at least for now. :( T_T

Last blog to be considered for this post is Hige vs. Otaku. This is another of the really cool dudes I think. But again, no updates recently, so…..

OK, that’s it for now. Making slow but steady progress, but I think this is a good idea, especially since I’ve seen some discussion on some blogs recently focusing on singling out a few favorite blogs instead of listing dozens of them…
