Daijoubu

I watched Nyan Koi ep. 1 and it was fun. I love cats, but I don’t have a cat myself. The neighbors across the street have a cat, so when she’s out (waiting in the driveway for her family to get home) I can go over and pet her. But she doesn’t come to the sidewalk, she just stares. I have to walk all the way up to her, but when I do she rubs and meows and will even lick my hand. But now it’s getting colder she is not let out so I haven’t seen her for a while T__T. There are many cats in my town, actually. Sometimes you hear many of them at night! A few years ago, I was out walking at night and a cat came up from a driveway; I stopped and the cat came right over and started licking my leg without any hesitation! That was unusual! I’m happy whenever Hinano shares links of cute cats on Japanese cat blogs. I particularly like the orange kitten named Charlie, who is very cute indeed. Charlie was a tiny abandoned kitten who was brought to a loving home a fed from a bottle before he even opened his eyes for the first time. I often think of how nice it would be to raise a poor kitten that you could feed and watch grow. I would be like the kitten’s mother and I would get warm feelings looking at the little kitten sleeping on a soft rug! For those of you who think I am only obsessed with dangos, you are wrong!

The cats in Nyan Koi acted very much like humans. I suppose I shouldn’t expect anime cats to act like real cats, but I’d also like to see the cats in the show engaged in typical feline activities! Cats are very clean and like to lick themselves, which is why they have bristly tongues. Cats also like exploring boxes that are lying around. Perhaps a cat can be rescued from a tree too, since that is a common problem that cats run into. Even if you can’t hear cats talking, you can try to understand what they are saying.
