Daijoubu

I went on a tour of a famous author’s house recently and our guide named Cecily was terrible. It’s now like a joke for us mention the name Cecily, and now here’s an anime with a big-boobed sword-wielding girl named… Cecily. lol This girl is the usual energetic, not-very-skilled but full of dedication, type that is oh-so-common. To make her more exciting, they have given her a huge breast-displaying breastplate. This combines with the sword references to make the first episode of the Sacred Blacksmith a double-entendre heaven. There is a scene where the girl Cecily actually says to the guy, “I want a sword that won’t break,” and “Your sword is better than any sword I’ve seen.” But for all of that, with a girl begging a men for a sword and all, she compensates in the above pictured scene, where her steel boobs literally display their power. With the first episode emphasizing from the start how the man’s already saved her three times, she saves him with… those knockers. wow The series has potential, with its great production values and all. I only hope the breast stuff is limited to this titillation in the first ep. The other point I want to make is that I just realized that the untamed cats in Nyan Koi 01 are intended, like the one in Azumanga Daioh, to be Iriomote Cats!
